Our thoughts and prayers are with the East Moline Correctional Center after the tragic loss of one of their own. We are here for you and are praying for you and the family for their loss.
The Dubuque Community is hosting Travis Howze back to our area. If you we’re unable to attend this training last November, please!!! We implore you! If you are a first responder in any shape or form. Spouse or loved one. Please attend this training. We continue to receive incredible feedback and success stories after they attended this training. Several people from the area will be headed to Dubuque to attend the training again. That’s how powerful this message is. Don’t miss this opportunity. Thank you to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s for hosting this incredible training.
Thank you to all of our Telecommunicators. You all serve as the lifeline to those in need! The job you all do is incredibly stressful and go unrecognized far to often. That’s why when the MABAS Division 43 PEER Support Team was established we knew it was essential to have Telecommunications as part of our team. We are thankful for Sara Parker and Jen Caulkins who go above and beyond in their duties with QComm911 while also being a critical part of our team providing peer support to fellow first responders.
The Rock Island Arsenal Fire Department let Georgia stop by this afternoon to spend some time with their team. Thank you letting her be a part of your day. We hope she made your day just a little better!
Captain Tad Robinson
An incredible firefighter, leader, but above all, a friend gone too soon! We shall shed our tears! We will raise one high. But for the person Capt Robinson is, we won’t say goodbye. We’ll just say… until we meet again. Rest easy… we’ll take it from here.
